This place was a little slice of paradise during our visit to Ubud. Yudi and his family take care of every detail you could imagine. When we return to Ubud we will stay here again. The Villa was private and quiet. Easily walkable to several great restaurants. We stayed here as part of our anniversary trip and are thrilled with our experience. I highly recommend Rumah Dadong.

The villa, Yudi and his staff were all fantastic. Great place for a holiday if you are looking for a quiet relaxed stay but still be close to Ubud and surrounding attractions. Thanks Yudi for providing me with a wonderful relaxed stay.

Definitely stay here

I was not feeling well for our stay and the staff went beyond what they needed to to help. They brought extra tea, they got me panadol (a.k.a Advil) and checked up on me regularly to see if I was doing okay. The hotel was very nice and intimate. So lying around the whole time was not that bad as I was next to the private pool. Breakfast came each morning on time and there is plenty of places around to eat too. Close to a lot of cool things and highly recommend staying here!

Tropical nirvana

Wow! What a great place to call HOME! I’ve been to more than 40 countries and countless places, but this one just does it for me! The villa layout is just perfect for relaxation! It’s a little bit away (15-20 minutes walk) from central Ubud, but that’s exactly what makes it so special! I keep extending my stay — just cannot have enough of this place!👍

Amazing Traditional Ubud Experience

3.5 star? More like 4 star! Best hotel we’ve stayed at our entire 4 months in Asia, maybe ever! Amazing private pool villa and value !! The owner was so helpful giving us travel advise, adding extra nights and adding in motorbike rental. The room was lovely and cozy.. very clean and spacious. Wonderful outdoor shower and soaking tub. Plus the private pool!!!! Just.. WOW. Breakfast was brought on time every morning and was delicious. The area was great and close to downtown Ubud and all its attractions. The only thing I’d change is stronger AC but they’re villas in the jungle so it wasn’t a huge dealbreaker plus it was cool enough. I’d stay again and again. Stay at “Grandma’s House”!

LOVED my stay at Rumah Dadong - Extremely comfy bed, huge bathtub and outdoor shower, lovely welcome and drinks and gorgeous hosts - thank you so much Erna & Yudi for making our stay fabulous! Breakfast were fantastic, and the location is gorgeous amongst the rice paddies. Yudi went out of his way to make our stay very special - we will return for sure! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Amazing staff, and a lovely, relaxing stay in Ubud

I stayed here with my partner, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay in Ubud at Rumah Dadong. Yudi and Erna are the loveliest couple and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. A shout-out to the breakfast which was amazing and cooked to order every morning. This place was our amazing little sanctuary and we were very sad to leave it. Yudi also sat with us our first morning after breakfast and helped us plan a perfect touristy day full of activities and beautiful sites. I highly recommend this place to anyone, as it's a beautiful, private villa and is in a nice quiet part of Ubud.

Fantastic Ubud experience

We stayed in a two bedroom villa with private pool.Rumah Dadong (meaning "Grandma's House") is located in a small village not too far away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud(30minute walk/10min car). The villa had a Balinese theme with great facilities and very clean. Food was great - a special mention for the breakfast. - and a few near by restaurants in the village had great food as well. A special thanks to Yudi and his family who were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel totally welcome. Note: Villas are a short walk from the road through the rice fields - Yudi provided the muscle to carry the bags :)
