Disliked: Cleanliness
The yard and stairs are not maintained dangerous and ugly. Rotting grapes all over an unusable patio area. Rat traps upstairs behind what I thought was a bedroom closet. There was also mice feces present. NO lamps anywhere in the house only can lights The kitchen had four plates, bowls and salad plates. The fixture in the kitchen was covered with dust and cobwebs. Only one bulb worked. The worst and most discusting problem was the garbage in the kitchen have not been taken out. When we opened the cabinet 1 million fruit pie flew out we called the owner. She asked us to take the garbage outside and leave it on the back patio. There were fruit flies all over the house on the lower level for that length of our stay. The front porch had a swing with an ill fitting cushion on it so it was not comfortable. There were two chairs and one had the base broken off. The yard was unusable because it wasn’t kept up. The kitchen window leaked when the sprinklers came on. We let the owner know.When we found the condition of the house, we tried to make other arrangements to stay and we could not find any on such short noticeWe ended up spending most of our free time down at Alderbrook resort lovely place great food and lots of clean space inside and outside. I don’t know if the person who owns this house and rents it is aware of the condition if she’s like a slumlord or if she’s an elderly person who cannot take care of the property but no one should stay there
