The staff are greatand the room is comfortable. The price is right but understand that this is a older hotel snd is showing it in the facilities. I would stay here again when travelling through Blue River.

Sandman Blue River

The public areas of the property are in rough shape. Rooms have been upgraded but mine , room 246, smelled strongly of smoke. Staff came to my door and asked if I had checked in…he was the one that checked me in. I wouldn’t stay again. It got the job done but other options might be worth trying.

When we asked if the refrigerator in the room had a freezer, they said yes, but it didn't. We needed it to store breastmilk, but they were accommodating by storing our cooler in a freezer they had. The stay there was short as we arrived late, but the room was comfortable.

Nice room, with very good amenities. But the desk clerk was absent when we tried to check in, and didn’t answer the bell. Eventually I had to get one of the restaurant staff to find him. No apologies offered.Then,for the first time, we learned there was a $50 damage deposit.
