Negatives:
Constant fire alarms disrupted our stay repeatedly, causing unnecessary stress.
Air conditioning was non-functional - our room reached 28°C. Although multiple technicians (five in total) were sent to fix it, the process took hours and was only temporarily resolved.
Room phone seemed disconnected, as no one answered calls to reception, housekeeping, or room service.
There were unpleasant sewage/waste smells coming from the room at random times.
Cleanliness was poor. The sink and shower were visibly dirty, and despite multiple requests, housekeeping didn’t clean our room for several days.
The gym was very basic, and like the rooms, lacked air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to use.
Customer service was disappointing. Staff were generally unfriendly, and in one instance, even smirked while delivering bad news to us.
Elevators were unreliable: slow, often crowded, and occasionally stalled with a delay before doors would open.
No complimentary water in the rooms. An eco-friendly refill system is available, but this is poorly advertised and limited to a small container you’re given, with stations on only a few floors.
Positives:
The breakfast was a highlight, with a great selection and friendly, attentive servers.
The location is very convenient, close to a mall, restaurants, and within easy reach of the city centre.
