Had a great room last year but the room this year was not good. Room 207 has to be an anomaly as the bathroom is really tiny and hard to get into. You had to walk sideways between the bed and the wall to get into it and then it was hard to get out of the way enough to close the door. A storage closet in the hallway had taken up half the space usually used for the room's bathroom. Otherwise the place and the people were great.

Stayed one night, travelling through. Arrived later in the evening. Gentleman at the desk was courteous, but didn’t talk much. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Lobby was clean, but the hallways and doors to the rooms could use some maintenance/paint. Carpets in hallways are worn. Couldn’t get more than 4 channels on the TV that would come in. Big ice machine wasn’t working. They had a small table top ice maker on the lobby, but it had no ice made. Unit was plugged in, but staff didn’t fill it with water to make ice. Had to go to the gas station to buy a glass of ice. No coffee pots in the rooms; instead a larger commercial pot in the lobby. That ok, but there was no fresh coffee at 7 am the next morning. Only got 1/4 cup of left over, over cooked coffee stewing at the bottom of the reservoir, probably made days before. No one at the front desk area when we left at 7:30 am. Travel through the town yearly; probably won’t stop here again. Did have a good sleep, but the overall vibe and amenities are just not there.

The offered picture from host shows back door entry, no images of the front entry. Access code was for the front doors, which was not communicated. Outside of home was unkept. The neighborhood is a ghost town. Good thing we brought food because nothing was open nor walking distance. Not at all like the description. Walked into the Vrbo and was greeted with musty, sticky, non air-conditioned living area in one suite. Since there were no restaurants to eat, we started preparing a meal to find that the stove was not properly working. When I contacted the host she said she would send someone right away. He came but didn’t get the antique stove fixed more than to warm our tortillas. Also was told someone would be out to fix the a/c the next day. Our first night we had 6 of us trying to sleep in 86 degrees, host never even offered fans! When you book for 9 adults you would think the host would provide adult size beds. Don’t recommend this for any seniors, or those with bad knees/backs, will need a lift to get out of bed. Also don’t recommend having any adults that weigh 100 lbs because the cheap furniture does have weight limits! One of our guests hurt his back while falling to the floor on cheap furniture that broke but host was non empathetic. No empathy at all from host for not having met needs of advertised comfort for 9 adults. To top it off, we woke to an old ceiling leaking all over our things, thankfully this was check out day!
