It was a pleasure for us, staying in that wonderful house for weeks. François is such a nice guy and he was so kindly to help us, when we had a little accident. Notre sĂ©jour dans ce gĂźte du Cotentin a Ă©tĂ© une expĂ©rience trĂšs agrĂ©able et qui nous a ravis. La maison est une merveilleuse dĂ©couverte, avec son jardin et sa terrasse dont on peut profiter par beau temps. La rĂ©novation de la maison est remarquable, alliant charme et Ă©quipements modernes. L'accueil chaleureux de Fabienne a ajoutĂ© une touche personnelle Ă  notre sĂ©jour, mĂȘme Ă  distance : Les propriĂ©taires Ă©tant en vacances au moment de notre sĂ©jour, Fabienne a beaucoup communiquĂ© avec nous, nous a donnĂ© toutes les informations et conseils dont nous pouvions avoir besoin et s’est assurĂ©e que notre sĂ©jour se passe impeccablement bien. Cette maison de caractĂšre Ă  Valognes offre un cadre familial authentique, avec une propretĂ© impeccable et tous les Ă©quipements nĂ©cessaires. Sa localisation centrale permet un accĂšs facile aux commerces, aux restaurants et au marchĂ© hebdomadaire, et un point de dĂ©part idĂ©al pour explorer la pĂ©ninsule du Cotentin. En famille, nous avons explorĂ© la rĂ©gion. Notre sĂ©jour a Ă©tĂ© marquĂ© par des dĂ©couvertes culturelles, des balades pittoresques et des moments de dĂ©tente dans cette maison au charme fou. Le gĂźte "Ô fil du temps" est vĂ©ritablement magnifique. La maison, propre et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t, nous a enchantĂ©s dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e. Nous recommandons vivement cette trĂšs belle maison fonctionnelle et convenant aux enfants, pour un sĂ©jour en Normandie.

Wonderful, we highly recommend au fil du temps

Au fil du temps is really beautiful. The hosts Fabienne and François are kind and helpful, we've feeled very welcomed. François awaited us and showed us round. We could get in contact any time, but everything was fine. The house and the garden are very clean and tastefully furnished. The old walls and bricks performed magic history in the mind...so we fell in love with the house at once. From there it' s a short walk into the town, where you find all you need and there is a vivid weekly market on Friday. Parking in the street is no problem. The back garden is very quiet and comfortable to sit and read or knit or play cards and drink a tasty wine/cider/beer in the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped, we had all we needed... especially the good espresso machine was our favourite. Valognes is a good starting point to discover the Contentin. Cherbourg, Barfleur, Utah and Omaha Beach, Bayeux and Le Mont Saint Michel, to mention a few....In our two weeks stay we've seen a lot and hiked through beautiful towns, countrysides and coastals and enjoyed our stay totally. Nous avons passé des meilleurs jours ici, merci beaucoup Fabienne et François.

Great house, great location

This is really nice house: good quality of furniture and beds, decorated with charm, well located to supermarkets, boulangeries and charcuteries. In the centre of the landing beaches, spectaculair walks around Jobourg, mont st Michel, very good fruit de mer restaurants and many more. What do you need more? Maybe a bit of luck with the weather and bit more liveliness in Valognes.

Une superbe maison avec jardin luxuriant ou l'on se sent bien ! TrÚs belle rénovation , tout équipée. Fabienne nous a réservé un trÚs bon accueil. Nous avons adoré cet endroit !

Wunderschönes Stadthaus

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit dem Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt. Alle Dinge des tĂ€glichen Bedarfs sind fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Die StrĂ€nde zu beiden Seiten des Cotentin sind ebenfalls mit dem Auto nicht weit entfernt und gut erreichbar. Besonders schön war, dass wir uns jederzeit an die sehr aufmerksamen und großzĂŒgigen Besitzer Fabienne & Francois wenden konnten.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in perfekter Lage fĂŒr einen Urlaub im Cotentin

In diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus haben wir uns von Anfang an direkt wohl und willkommen gefĂŒhlt. Liebevoll und geschmackvoll restauriertes, super sauberes und urgemĂŒtliches Stadthaus mit einer ĂŒppigen Garten-Oase zum Verweilen und schönem Sitzplatz. Es gibt gute Parkmöglichkeiten am Haus, in der hervorragend ausgestatteten KĂŒche macht das Kochen Spaß, fĂŒr kleinere Kinder gibt es spannendes Spielzeug, BildbĂ€nde und Informationsmaterial vom Cotentin laden zum AusschwĂ€rmen in diese landschaftlich wunderschöne, irgendwie beruhigende Region ein, wofĂŒr Valognes (die Stadt glitzert im Abendlicht) ein perfekt gelegener Ausgangsort ist. Wir wĂ€ren gern lĂ€nger geblieben, die Woche ging viel zu schnell vorbei und es gibt so viel zu entdecken!

Séjour parfait pour du repos et des visites de la région

« Ô fil du temps » oĂč le temps file trop vite, une trĂšs jolie petite maison de caractĂšre, parfaite pour visiter le COTENTIN. Ce joli gĂźte est idĂ©alement situĂ©e au milieu de la presqu’üle, base arriĂšre confortable et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, tout est lĂ  pour vous faciliter la vie et dĂ©couvrir pleinement une rĂ©gion Ă©tonnante, sports , culture, paysages, gastronomie
que demander de plus, Ă  part y retourner ! Mention spĂ©ciale : j'ai apprĂ©ciĂ© Valognes, une ville Ă  dĂ©couvrir, qui cache beaucoup de trĂ©sors..

DĂ©couverte du Cotentin

Superbe maison d'une propreté impeccable. Les volumes sont trÚs agréables avec une décoration personnalisée. Rien ne manque au niveau des équipements. Valognes est un trÚs bon point de départ pour naviguer dans le Cotentin qui dispose de plein de ressources. Nous avons tous apprécié notre séjour, Fabienne est trÚs réactive en cas de besoin. C'est avec plaisir que nous avons profité de notre séjour.

Very comfortable and characterful house in the Cotentin

The house in Valognes is full of character, spotlessly clean and equipped with all that you could need for a family stay in an authentic French market town. It was like home from home. The house is in a great location with shops, restaurants and the weekly market all within easy walking distance and it is very quiet at night for sleeping. The garden area with terrace and chairs is a very nice addition to be able to eat and sit outside. The communication process with Fabienne was very efficient and she was so welcoming and helpful on our arrival. Valognes is the perfect base to explore each side of the Cotentin Peninsula and further afield. We had a great stay and would have no hesitation returning.

Super séjour

Nous sommes partis en famille dans le gĂźte durant le mois d’aout. MalgrĂ© une mĂ©tĂ©o mitigĂ©e, nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs beau sĂ©jour. Visite d’une plage du dĂ©barquement, promenades et marchĂ© dans le village, promenade le long d’un port et fĂȘte foraine. La propriĂ©taire nous avait conseillĂ© quelques restaurants que nous avons testĂ©s et beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ©s. Je recommande cette maison trĂšs jolie et fonctionnelle.

Merveilleux séjour au fil du temps

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cette maison au charme fou, trÚs bien équipée et idéalement située pour sillonner la région. La petite localité de Valogne est trÚs agréable et la maison est idéalement située pour pouvoir se rendre à pieds dans le centre. Les propriétaires, Fabienne et François nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et bien conseillés à propos des choses à voir dans la région. Bref, ce fut pour nous une semaine de vacances parfaite dans le Cotentin. Réservez sans attendre. Christophe, Cathia, Mathieu, Alexandre et Charlie.
