I knew there was no onsite parking, but expected a loading/unloading zone. There wasn't one. Our bags were heavy since we were on a 2 week road trip so we had to leave most of our stuff in the car in a sketchy garage. It was hard to have fun worrying about our vulnerable belongings.

Communal areas and rooms felt dated, and the breakfast hall was small and cramped, reasonable selection considering it was a continental breakfast. The view from the window was of a concrete wall! But we didn’t spend time in the room, it’s a perfect place to access the main attractions around the harbour and Gastown all within easy reach.

Clean and convenient

Hotel had bad reviews but i picked it for the convenience of the location to the cruise terminals and the price was about half of the surrounding hotels. But we found the hotel to be older however it was clean and staff was friendly and it truly has a great location.

The staff was incredibly nice, but the property itself is in dire need of renovation. The closet was moldy. The bathroom smelled of urine. The lighting was very poor and the huge AC unit in the window was loud and there appeared to be no soundproofing as the sirens throughout the night and traffic were very loud

Fabulous location. Safe to walk all around. We walked to church and to a restaurant; we walked with our luggage to the cruise terminal (literally 2 blocks.) Staff was happy to keep our luggage till it was time to board. This is a no frills hotel but the location and price made it worth it. If you want the least expensive option, stay at an airport hotel and take a cab to cruise terminal for $60. But we enjoyed our hours walking around downtown Vancouver.

Days Inn can be hit or miss

Parking is a serious issue. there isn't even a loading area for high traffic times. Parking is a block and a half away making it difficult for older people and those with mobility issues. This is an older hotel. Breakfast items were limited.
