I recently stayed at Gage Suites UBC and could not have asked for a better experience. The accommodations are brand new, spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished; I felt completely at ease the moment I arrived. Having a full kitchen and a cozy living area made it simple to unwind after a day of exploring and equally easy to stay productive when I needed to work. The bathroom was a highlight: excellent water pressure and a sleek, modern design made every shower a pleasure. The staff went above and beyond with their warmth and attentiveness, offering helpful suggestions and responding to every request without delay. With its prime on-campus location, I was able to stroll through UBC’s stunning grounds and enjoy nearby dining and shops within minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend Gage Suites UBC to anyone looking for a true five-star stay in Vancouver.

A great place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Much more affordable than many of the overpriced hotels in downtown Vancouver, and only a short easy 6 mile drive to the downtown area. It is very convenient and close to folks wishing to visit Wreck Beach.

A very nice hotel but very small space for two people. It felt like a high end hotel but the space was very small for two people. Great location, however, on the UBC campus. Total access to the university facilities including the Olympic size pool for a very small fee.

Stayed one night with my college age son before his summer ESL program starts. Just to familiarize himself to the area and confirm the commuting route after he moves to an Airbnb. I wish I could stay here longer. This is very convenient place to be close to UBC but the room rate was quite expensive so we only stayed there one night.

Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet. Only issue is that check in is a little difficult to find. Multiple towers so ask where your room is and parking can be a little confusing. Will definitely stay again during summer.

Upon walking into my room, the stench was unbearable. It smelled like dirty water / mold and sweat (BO). I tried to open the windows to air it out but seems like the smell is embedded in the room. Also, the phone went off at 4:00 AM while I was in a deep sleep. It kept erroring out over and over so I unplugged the phone and left a note for the facility to fix it. Other than that, the location was nice and parking made it simple. I liked that I could walk everywhere without fearing for my safety.

The place is was fine my issue is more that the parking was a pain. To find and use. Its a pain to find your away the area.. also the parking price is way over priced. It was $20+ a night to park at a college campus 8+ miles from thr downtown.

so many buildings around the main building. After parking, we had to wander around in the dark with our large suitcases trying to find our room. In the end, we couldn’t find it and had to go back to the check-in area to ask for help. And guess what happened next? The room key cards didn’t work. I almost screamed. We had to go back again to get them reset—and we didn’t even get an apology but attitude lol. The room itself was clean. But I’m sorry, we won’t be staying here again. never
