Check in was not great. I was initially given a room on the 5th floor that was under maintenance. Not sure why a guest would be given a room that was not available. I had to go back down to the front desk and ask for another room, which was satisfactory. I have stayed at the River Rock before and have not encountered this issue, but it was inconvenient to say the least.

service at the buffet restaurant was not great. Hostess was rude and prejudice. She set a horrible tone for the servers who were unequally given customers and she flat out lied to us saying that tables were reserved. 6n tables she told us were reserved sat empty for the entire 1 hour duration of our visit. this would have been the hostess at 5:30 pm on Sunday 10-26-25. You really need a manager in there

Casino was well run. Breakfast had limited options. Main restaurant that I had enjoyed on previous visit was closed quite often. They had amazing breakfasts last time I was there and I was looking forward to that again so that was disappointing. Starbucks was available as was the food court in the Casino. Chinese food was fresh. Staff there was very helpful. I would have preferred more options.

The room wasn't clean black hairs found in the shower the distance that you had to walk from where you park to get to the rooms was absolutely ridiculous give your ID both times going through both sides of the casino to get to your hotel it's not a four-star hotel parking should be better and it was very bad the cleaning of the room

Casino is very dated! most slot machines are 5 to 10 plus years old and really only a small handful of newer machines. The restaurants are ok but nothing too exciting, need a 24 hour cafe inside the casino. No happy hour bar deals or live music entertainment that I could see. Hotel rooms facing the marina are nice and spacious. No security in elevators, card readers did not work so anyone can access the floors.
