Cheap and basic hotel. Parking right outside and in a very convenient location. Virtually in the centre of Chinon. If you are looking for quality it's not for you, but if you want a quick and convenient stop of over its great.

Excellent friendly staff, beautiful setting. Pet friendly. Only slight drawback was that the car charging point wasn't working

This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there are a number of places to eat within walking distance but don't expect any fine dining. We ate at the Asian 'all you can eat' buffet which was excellent and just 500m away. It was easy to find, just off the main motorway and accepted our dogs for a very small supplement. We will use this hotel again if we are passing.

Host was welcoming and accommodating to us. Facilities were great, and property was perfect size for our large group so we could all have nice rooms and large communal space for dining together etc. Lots of plates and cooking equipment etc.
