I am dissatisfied with my recent stay. There was no coffee provided in the room, and there were no alternatives available at the front desk. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning properly. I also found the front desk staff to be unprofessional and unfriendly. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Good location and services

Overall, good stay, would recommend. Location is less than 5 minute walk from Venice Mestre station. Room was reasonably quiet at night, bed was a comfortable. Able to store luggage for the day, which is helpful.

Our stay at the Campanile - Mestre was quite enjoyable. Hotel was as-described, staff was very helpful. Enjoyed a couple of the restaurants in the area. Very convenient to the train station, which we used to go in and out of Venice very easily. Only downside is that the hotel decor could use some updating, and our room did not have a safe (or much room for storage of clothes). However, the staff was very accommodating to store our valuables in the safe for the building. Area felt quite safe - I went running outdoors a twice during our 3 day stay without any issues or concerns. We also got back late from a football game (after midnight) and walked from Avis to the hotel without issue.

Nice, but noisy.

Nice hotel near the Mestre train station. Wonderful and extremely helpful staff. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Paper thin walls. I could hear everything going on the entire floor and outside.

Great room and very convenient location (5 minutes from airport Express bus and 8 minutes from train to all cities and to Venice Santa Lucia station). It can get noisely at night with people partying outside however room, bedding, bathroom and buffet breakfast were great. For TV you'll need to bring your laptop and HDMI cable; otherwise it just has the tv channels and not apps like Netflix.

Really well located hotel that has the train station, bus stops and tram stops within a few minutes walk! Small rooms but very cozy with a/c that can produce cold air even during winter months for those of us from colder climates. Bathroom is well lit and well renovated.

I think its been the best hotel ive had in my multi-city europe trip so far. Unlike others, the reception staff welcome you with a smile, be helpful and even make you feel comfortable. The room was so decent and relaxing that i chose to stay in the room for a whole day to rest and relax instead of exploring the city. Good shower space, really comfortable bed and TV made it great. Not a smart TV, so bring a HDMI or something to watch your shows. Accessibility wise, just 7min walk to Venezia Mestre station, which takes 5min to get to the Island - Venezia Santa Lucia station for a few euros. I used Trainline app to get my tickets to and fro, so its really easy. You have food options like indian food just 5min away, ramen, a bunch of italian restaurants and many more within 5min walk. Hotel lobby has comfortable sitting area for you to sit and have a chat with guests without being in the cold outside. The station comes with lots of food options too. Overall, love this hotel. For improvement - maybe add smart TV and a safe box.

Simple and Perfect

Perfect place to stay. Nothing too fancy. Just outside of Venice. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was new and water was warm. Breakfast is offered at an extra price. We just purchased breakfast at a nearby bar for 1/3 the price. Location seemed safe and easy to access the train station.

Quality price- perfect match. 3min.walk to the main train station. All the buses and trains stops nearby. Restorants, bars and shops also are nearby. Comfortable and clean rooms, gentle staff, no train noise.

The hotel has great facilities and also has a great location. It is close to the train station and restaurants. It also has a great breakfast. However if you or a family member is in need of a medical devise such as the CPAP machine I will strongly recommend to do some research before booking. In our case my husband needs it and when he turned on the machine the lights went off. I went to the front desk and a sir that handled my concern said that there wasn’t any problem with the electricity it just that the machine requires a high voltage. I told him that we used it in other hotels in Italy but he simply disregard my concern even when I told him that my husband life depended on the machine. He said that in the case of an emergency they could assist by calling the ambulance which he didn’t recommend because it was too expensive that he will advise to call a taxi. No empathy was shown to me, very transactional.
