Nice little guest house in Tessera. Quiet, clean and friendly Staff. They do not serve meals but there is an excellent restaurant a short walk it is called Ai-Do Fogheri. Excellent meal selections and reasonable. Highly recommend. Also a nice little Cafe and Pizzaria nearby within walking distance. The ACTV bus runs regularly to Venice and Venice Mestra and to Marco Polo Airport which is a 10 minute bus ride.

The hotel is brand new and quite nice but its an oasis in an otherwise disagreeable area. It is however, a few blocks off old town Zadar, so that’s highly convenient. Hopefully the city’s authorities get to improve the area surrounding the hotel. All said, the area seems as safe as in any other city in Croatia.

I booked this because it was close to airport, very small rooms like a dorm room feel. Was very clean and check in went well. Few restaurants by area nothing special. Too hot to walk to airport so pre booked a pickup.

I need a basic accommodation close to Marco Polo airport. I had a simple, double bed room. Very clean and minimal. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning was good. There was a chair in the corner of the room, but no table. There was a message on the bed asking to not eat on the bed, and a table would have helped with that. Also, in the bathroom, there was almost no flat surface to put toiletry items. The sink was a pedestal with no counter. I did have some food, and I found the outdoor public seating areas (garden and balcony) were good as eating areas, but I did have to leave my room. These were minor annoyances. Overall, I would stay again.

Very clean and convenient

The Guest house Bella Onda was at a very convenient location from the Marco Polo airport. There are buses coming and going from Venice every 15-20 minutes. There are multiple eateries right across the street from the guest house. The place was so clean I wish we had stayed there all other nights instead of staying at Venice.

Great location/calming space

Stay was great. Very close to airport. Check in was easy. Room had a calming effect after several hours of travel. Air conditioning worked great. Room was set up for us to accommodate 3 single beds (for me and 2 children) so we all had our own space. (Asked in advance what our sleeping preference was, which was appreciated!) It was a 5 minute walk to bus stop that took us into Venice for the afternoon/evening (about 25 minute bus ride for 1.5 Euro each way). Thanks!

I was looking for a hotel close to the Venice airport for a 6 am flight. It was walkable, 15 minutes away. Easy to reach from Venice bus station, bus 5. The staff was friendly and our room felt newly renovated. Nice quiet place to stay.

Great inexpensive place.

Laura was helpful in making sure the room was ready and also advising me exactly how to get there and how to get back down into the city. It is a quick walk to the airport but there’s about 100 m where there’s no shoulder. I would walk again, but may have second thoughts if I had children or elderly people with me. The pizza and the restaurant across the road is quite decent and cheap
