This property is ideal. Close enough to Venice proper, but no need to schlep your luggage around the boats and tiny sidewalks to find a cramped in-air conditioned property in the middle of Venice. Hotel Hampton by Hilton is minutes away from Venice for a 1.50 Euro people mover that is quite close to the lobby. Having the ability to park your car at the hotel is great too. Only advice …. Watch out for the scam artists in Venice…they actually wear the uniform of transit police. Master manipulation of a system that sets you up for failure - no humans at night to sell you a ticket - ticket machines with nonsensical information and graphics - actually overpaid for a waterbus ticket and they wanted to impose a fine of 500% because it was technically for a different route. Insane to be fined like patent and small child jumped the turnstile and didn’t pay with and they’re ready and waiting to capitalize on the scheme. Really disgraceful and the lack of empathy was a blemish on all of humanity. No fault of the hotel and isn’t anything they can do, but word of caution if you go to Venice…

The hotel had a wonderful buffet and the shower pressure was great! I was in room 0016, apparently right next to the staff kitchen. They were incredibly noisy from 06:00- 2330 every day. Clinking dishes, laughing, carrying on, smoking their cigarettes right outside my window. Seemed to care less about trying to be respectful to sleeping guests. Other than that, it was good. Request your room to be at the farther end of the hotel and this won’t be a problem. Also, they didn’t give me washcloths after the first day. Used hand towels to take a shower. Not the end of the world, but a little annoying. The photo is my view. It won’t let me post a video. Kitchen is on the right. Noise coming from those windows.

The location was super easy to access via water, Taxi, and the hotel is new and the breakfast was great. However, the room had no air conditioning at all, and although the rooms were soundproof, the windows were not, so traffic, people laughing, basically a mouse moving was heard clear as day all night long. We spent one night, and got a great deal, so it was worth it.

Hotel is new and clean but the rooms are super small and the beds uncomfortable. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the breakfast was not very good. It was the least enjoyable place we stayed in Italy.

Very convenient as long as the water busses run.

This hotel seemed to be brand new. Very clean and nice. It was easy to take a water bus from the hotel to the main area of Venice, or to Murano or Burano. But one night the water busses stopped running early, and we had to go all the way to the train station and then get a cab. So make sure you know the water bus schedule. The breakfast in the morning was good, too.

Rooms were very comfortable and hotel was easy to get to from the airport and train station. Front desk and service staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a good time. Dinner was exceptional.

Brand new and thoughtfully designed hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — really appreciated the attention to detail. The only downside was the breakfast. While there were many options, the quality didn’t match the rest of the experience. Even the scrambled eggs lacked real flavor — not sure if it was due to the ingredients or the preparation. Still, overall a great stay and I would consider returning.
