NEWLY RENOVATED Houseboat Located in Venice Marina (B Dock)

Newly renovated, family-owned houseboat located in Venice, LA at the Venice Marina. We are local to the area and have spent the last 30+ years fishing in this area and are excited to provide quality lodging to fishermen and hunters alike. Our houseboat is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, 500 lb ice machine, fish cleaning station, TV, Wi-Fi, and more. Our back dock is perfect for grabbing a beverage and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Venice Marina. Inshore fishing, offshore fishing, and duck hunting guides can pick you up from the back porch or you can dock your own boat. We are happy to recommend several inshore/offshore charter companies - just let us know and we'll be happy to send you their contact information!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The camp laid out well with the open concept which was great for cooking and hanging out. Beds were nice etc, nice dock. The camp does not come with some things we have seen from other houseboats such kitchen ware, paper towels, bathroom soap etc, and the dock area was cluttered with old cookware.

the inside is nice , but the cooking and drink wear is very poor. the skillets need to be done away with, some had rust covering them and not usable. Didn't see any cookie sheets for food prep. If you drink coffee you better bring your own coffee cups , only one real coffee cup and two tea cups. You are giving one towel and one wash cloth which is left on each bed . The TV didn't work and there were three 55 gal drums filled with something on deck where it was hard to get around and tie your boat up, right in the way. If you have anything bigger than a small bay boat you probably need to book another house boat it is very hard to park at.

AC worked perfectly, which was a huge relief after long, hot days out on the water. The place was clean and comfortable, with a great layout for a fishing group. While there’s no ice maker inside, there’s a fridge/freezer outside that made it easy to keep fish and drinks cold. Location couldn’t be better—right in the marina with super easy access for boat pick-up. Would definitely stay here again!
