“Taigh Na Mara” is a delightful brand bew double-storey family home in Ventnor just a short walk from the beach and comfortable drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
A central hallway provides access to Bedroom 1, which features a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet), a Study (with a selection of board games), a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & condenser clothes dryer), and a separate Toilet. At the rear of the home is the huge open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 55" smart TV, DVD player & a selection of movies) that flows through to two separate covered outdoor entertaining areas.
Upstairs is a second Living Room (with 50" smart TV & fuzbol table), as well as Bedroom 2 which features a WIR and ensuite (with bath, shower, toilet & double vanity) and access to a Balcony, plus Bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath & shower) plus a separate Toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The upstairs covered Balcony has 2 reclining outdoor lounge chairs and the two rear ground floor covered Entertaining Areas (with gas BBQ and seating for 8 pax) overlook the fully enclosed rear yard. The rear yard also features a spring-free trampoline and is perfect for children and pets (pets to remain outside please). The Garage is not for guest use, however there is space for 2 cars to park on the property, with additional parking available on the street.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has a zoned, ducted refrigerative reverse cycle system that warms and cools the entire home.

This home has 6 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 12 guests:

What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
