A great place to explore Sancerre wine country

This home is located in Verdigny about a 5 min car ride to Sancerre. It is a lovely home, that is well appointed, spacious, and clean. There were six people in our group and the home accomadated all of us with ample privacy. We found the beds were comfortable, linens and towels were provided and everything one might need to cook in the kitchen was available. The indoor pool was also a big plus and provided a nice way to cool off after a hot day of exploration. The AC worked well in all the upstairs bedrooms. The one caveat is that the main sitting area downstairs and the downstairs bedroom did not have AC. However, AC in this area was not a problem until an unusually hot couple of days. The owner, who lives next door, was very responsive, accommodating and kind. I would not hesitate in staying here again. It is a lovely home in a wonderful location.
