Comfortable stay and amazingly accommodating hosts, but could use some TLC.We had a solid, overall pleasant stay at this property! I cannot say enough good things about the owners/management. They were incredibly nice and responsive. I was working remotely during the day, and when I asked about a computer chair, they actually delivered one for me—I am so thankful for that! The Wi-Fi was also strong and reliable, and the bed was very comfortable.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the home could use a bit of tender loving care. It is pretty clear that this is strictly a rental property rather than a lived-in home, so it’s missing a bit of regular upkeep. For example, some areas could really use a fresh coat of paint, and there were several burnt-out lightbulbs. Additionally, the kitchen supplies need a refresh; the cooking utensils were quite worn, and there were only four cups available that were pretty heavily scratched.Finally, for future guests: while the listing mentions the home is 'minutes from the breathtaking beaches,' it is actually about a 10 to 15-minute drive. It is still a very easy trip, but just good to keep in mind for planning.Overall, it was a good home base for our trip, primarily thanks to the fantastic and responsive hosts!
