In the charming village of Vertheuil, in the heart of the Médoc vineyards, this recently renovated stone house offers a peaceful, flower-filled garden. Enjoy private access, parking, a heated pool (in season), and a terrace. The house is comfortable and fully equipped.



Ideally located in the Médoc Natural Park, between the estuary ports and the ocean, in a quiet and relaxing area:

- 30 minutes from ocean beaches (Montalivet, Plage des Pins)

- 20 minutes from Lake Hourtin and its leisure center (water sports, hiking, cycling, horse riding)

- 10 minutes from the estuary ports, Saint-Estèphe, and Pauillac

- 1 hour from Bordeaux, 1 hour from the bay, and 45 minutes from Verdon-sur-Mer



The accommodation is peaceful, in the heart of Vertheuil, one of the Médoc's most beautiful villages. You’ll find a café-restaurant with terrace in the 12th-century Abbey park, a grocery store (with oysters from the bay on weekends), a bakery, takeaway pizzeria, an eco-museum, and many nearby wine estates.

We had an amazing stay. Open communication with property manager (it was in French for us as I can speak/write it). Location is beautiful but you do need a car to drive around. For us, exactly what we needed. It is a stone-house, so most likely a bit older built so there was a bit of a musk smell, but we aired the house whilst being there and it wasn’t disruptive/something to complain about. Definitely would book it again! Just wished the weather was a bit better to make the most if the garden and swimming pool as it is a little piece of heaven.

Lovey house in the Medoc

We had a lovely stay in this house. The house was decorated very stylish and warm and had all the things that we needed. The weather was hot outside, but the cottage inside was nice and cool thanks to the thick walls. The pool was lovely and the children had a lot of fun with the floating devices. The owner of the house emailed a lot of tips on things to do in the neighbourhood and we had a lot of fun exploring those. The house is located very well if you want to visit the wineries in the medoc and the beach in the north.
