The lady who checked me in was a little bit rude when I asked her about the alternative if I don’t have a credit card. She answer: you can’t stay at the hotel, with a little bit of attitude. You could have say: we’re sorry, but, CC are obligatory for deposit. She was rude

We stayed at the Arbutus Inn recently and due to some of the reviews we had read about bugs etc., we were a bit skeptical but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience and no bugs anywhere. We chose the ground floor and found our room quite spacious, very clean and everything was in working order. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us the supplies when asked , without any hesitation. Having free parking and a car rental company next to checkin was an added bonus. On the whole we would definitely recommend this hotel. It is within 2 blocks from a huge shopping Mall too. We would rebook this hotel without any hesitation.
