Did not have breakfast in the hotel! I had a classic room which was quite basic! Wall paintwork was dirty, pillows were the cheapest of the cheap, leaving me have poor quality of sleep during my stay. Lastly and more importantly I had plumbing issues where the sink basin was blocked! Twice I had to alert reception about the issue before it was resolved! Tea/ coffee were never replaced in the room! I had to go to reception to ask for these.

The room was spacious and comfortable, containing all the amenities we needed. The hotel itself is clean, located in a great area, and the staff were terrific. Staying here helped us to enjoy our long weekend in Vienna visiting this beautiful city.

I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated. I became violently ill the day before I was scheduled to travel from Budapest to Vienna and asked the hotel to either refund my stay or simply postpone it by a few days. While I understand if a refund wasn’t possible, there is absolutely no excuse for refusing a basic level of compassion and flexibility in postponing the reservation. I travel from Washington, D.C., and my team regularly uses this hotel when conducting official business in Vienna—but it will now be removed from our department’s approved list. A simple act of kindness would have gone a long way. Instead, the hotel kept my payment, re-rented my room, and was effectively paid twice. They must be having financial problems to do this. Very disappointing treatment of a customer.

Great breakfast. Bar could have opened earlier. Closed for private function on one day, no notice to other guests until just before. Egg station lady incredibly friendly, slightly intense though.
