Everything about my stay at the Hotel Erzherzog was wonderful! The room was a good size and very comfortable with excellent hot water and water pressure in the shower. There were, also, heated floors, and a heated towel rack in the bathroom. They don't automatically provide robes and slippers to the room, but they happily had them sent to me in the room when I requested them. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping to the restaurant servers were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from including non-dairy milk options for the coffee machine, and champagne should you choose. I definitely look forward to returning when I go back to Vienna!

It’s a good hotel overall, with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the rooms are surprisingly small. Although the total square meters may look generous on paper, the layout is quite unusual: there is a long, spacious corridor, but almost no room around the bed, which makes the space feel tighter than expected. Breakfast is abundant but very busy, and the dining area can feel a bit like a cafeteria during peak hours. The location is also a bit far from the city center, so keep that in mind if you prefer to walk everywhere. Still, the staff are attentive and polite, and the hotel maintains a nice, clean environment. With a few improvements to the room design and breakfast flow, it could be an excellent place to stay.

Not for us. Central heat that couldn’t be changed for the room and in all common areas made it feel like we stayed in a Sauna. Staff in the restaurant was the unfriendliest we had encountered in a long time (excluding breakfast staff here)

Really nice hotel and great location

Internet connection was working fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast buffet was very tasty and had great options (including vegetarian). Hotel room was very clean and comfortable.

This is an excellent hotel with knowledgeable, helpful staff who speak very good English, the breakfast is fabulous, and the situation is great for the centre of the city (about a ten-minute walk). The stylish décor gives an added sense of luxury. There is a very good restuarant attached to the hotel. Extremely good value considering the quality of everything. Would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel room with elegant colour scheme and historic character. Real attention to detail in rooms and across the hotel. Felt instantly very comfortable. Breakfast was very varied, thoughtful mix of options and delicious. Friendly staff. Staff surprised us with a small unique gift since one of us had their birthday. It helped to make the day special.
