The hotel was very quiet. The staff were very professional & friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice & the food was delicious. There is a great view of the mountains from the restaurant.

Nice hotel. Staff were lovely, great restaurant and clean rooms. Only downside was the bed. Our mattress was uncomfortable— like sleeping on a rock.

Amazing place to stay if you are stopping in Vik on your trip to Iceland. Great breakfast everyday. Comfortable room with plenty of room. Good blackout shades to block the midnight sun. Dinner is great there too!

Nice hotel, but Misrepresented

What’s not pictured in all of the pictures, and I’m not sure why isn’t mentioned very often in reviews, is the campground. Yes, the views are incredible behind the hotel, however before the incredible view is a field full of camper vans and tents, people peeing in a field and changing clothes and living that camping life. Your upgraded Mountain View room and when in the dining room will be of the campground.

The only downside was that we arrived late due to a delayed flight, and unfortunately, all the nearby restaurants were already closed. After 10 PM, there were no food options available, which was frustrating when you're hungry after a long day of travel. It would be helpful if the hotel offered some late-night dining options or snacks for guests arriving late.

This is a very beautiful property however I found the pricing for this hotel to be very high and not worth the price. Everything was wonderful during our stay.

Great stay! Beautiful view from the restaurant, room was great with heated bathroom floors, which was nice after a long day of hiking and exploring. Minutes from everything in Vik and would definitely stay again if ever in Vik. Can't recommend enough!

We liked this hotel very much and would give it an overall rating of 5 if only the parking situation was better. It's a 50-yard/meter walk from the parking lot to the lobby door, the only entrance to the building. This is fine when it's not raining but a bit miserable in heavy rain with a lot of luggage. A covered pull-through or better use of the side emergency only door would help a great deal. We noticed a number of travelers struggling with this. That said, the staff was AMAZING and very friendly/helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was very good.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and felt new and well-maintained throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to provide excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet—there was a great variety to choose from, including eggs, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruits, juices, and good coffee. It was the perfect start to each day. After long days on the road, it was so nice to come back to such a comfortable and welcoming place. I would highly recommend Hotel Kría to anyone looking for a reliable and relaxing stay.
