Excellent resort in a beautiful mountain setting. Great staff. Excellent restaurant and pools. The initial room booked through hotels.com was terrible. Fortunately the hotel moved us to a great room. Do not trust hotels.com to book you a good room. Better to book directly with the hotel.

A paradise in the mountains

A great place to stay and enjoy nature with a plus: the hot springs. Great breaksfast buffet , rooms and customer service. Ask for Oliver, the guide, to complete your stay with a trip to Hacienda Charrascal, a great coffee tour experience.

Underwhelming and disappointing

Looked really great but once there things changed a bit. The signage for the hotel is not lighted at night, so a bit hard to find. After checking in, the room looked great until we noticed there are no amenities. They only provide 2 bath towels that you also use for the pool and thermal pools. You can ask for more towels, but you have to switch them out. There are no hand towels or face towels or bath robes of any kind. There’s also no drinking water provided. You have to go to the lobby to get drinking water. In the shower, the blinds were all rusted and moldy. The thermal pools were nice and the food was decent. But the hotel wasn’t worth the amount we paid. This place could be so much better. I wouldn’t go again.
