Whar a superb run hotel, not sure about the decor but could not fault the cleanleness, food, both evening meal and breakfast, was spot on. Staff very friendly and helpful, we were the only English at thd hotel and made very welcome.

Fantastic Value!

Working in the area on business for a few weeks and needed a sensibly priced place to stay. The Strandhotel Westduin did not disappoint and delivered in abundance. From the friendly welcome when I arrived late on New Years day to the unrivalled personal service from all staff throughout the duration of my stay I was delighted. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others in the future.

Excellent hotel and service. The room is on the slightly smaller size and the restaurant which is lovely does get booked up. The cafe over the dune was excellent alternative. Would highly recommend this hotel

Great place to stay while cycling

It was a lovely stay. The hotel is charming; the staff are outstanding. The breakfast, which was included, was excellent. There was a safe place to store our bikes. We would happily stay here again.

Nice hotel at excellent location.

The location of the hotel was super good. Onsite parking was sufficient, although a lit bit thight. It cost 10 euro's, but you can come/leave whenever you want. Staff was very friendly and helpful/ The room wasn't big but we got a corner room with lots of light. The hotel temperature was a little bit too warm for us. But maybe because of the many elderly guests. We had to open a small window to make it cooler. We did experience some noise during the night. Not sure if this was from other hotel guests or staff. The breakfast was wonderful. Unfortunatly we could not have dinner because they restaurant was fully booked. We did not swim either because the pool was reserved for swimming lessons. IMHO strange for Sunday morning. We did book this hotel with a hotel.com voucher. But I think 150 euro for 1 night would be too much. I would be more comfortable to pay maximum 100 euro's per night. But northing can beat the location. Just a few steps away from the beach and dunes.

Sehr schönes Hotel, Frühstück war sehr lecker mit viel auswahl. Zimmer war sauber, klimatisiert und das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Kleiner Mangel war der Badezimmerspiegel wo das Licht kaputt war.

We waren hier al eerder geweest. Het is een fijn hotel. Netjes en fijn personeel. Ook een goede fietsenstalling met oplaadpunten. Ontbijt was ook prima. Zeer uitgebreid. De ligging pal achter de duinen is een groot plus punt.

Nicht zu empfehlen

Kundenfreundlich ist es nicht Autos vorzeitig vom Gelände zu verjagen. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich für den Preis bessere Unterkünfte gehabt und besseren Service. Es gibt kein Spülmittel in der Küchenzeile und kein Besteck, keinen Flaschenöffner, oder eine Schere. Bademäntel kosten 5 € fürs ausleihen pro Bademantel als würde der Übernachtungspreis zu billig sein. Ich bin in vielen Hotels unterwegs aber das jemand 5 € dafür wollte ist mir noch nie passiert. Auch nicht schön dass man 10 € fürs parken pro Tag bezahlt aber am Abreisetag um 13 Uhr den Parkplatz zwingend räumen muss. Obwohl Check in erst ab 15 Uhr Ihr beginnt. Wenn man also noch ein wenig am Strand bleiben möchte heißt das um parken zu einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz in der Nähe. Was für ein Service für Hotelgäste. Hab ich so auch noch nie erlebt. Die Dusche hat kaum Wasserdruck. Und das es keinen Duschvorhang gibt ist beim Duschen immer der ganze Raum nass. Toilettenpapier gleicht Schmirgelpapier und ist einlagig und braun. Zimmer sind hellhörig Auf drei E-Mails vor Anreise wurde nicht reagiert. Es gab keinen Gruß vom Hotel aus der Geburtstag während des Aufenthaltes war, was ich so ebenfalls aus keinem anderen Hotel kenne. Es wurde auch nicht abgesprochen was ich für einen Blumenstrauß möchte sondern einfach etwas in Rechnung gestellt. Macht man eigentlich auch nicht.

Super war die Lage und das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Das Personal war freundlich und es war sauber und ordentlich. Nicht gefallen hat uns das Bett, das sehr weich war. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sehr klein. Ich möchte mir nicht vorstellen, wie das gewesen wäre, hätten wir noch Schwimmsachen gehabt. Die Ladesäulen für E-Autos sind mit den gängigen deutschen Ladekarten nicht nutzbar.
