Compare Ski Hotels in Volcano

We needed a place near volcano park and this property filled the bill. I really should have read the information provided by the host to understand the self-check in process. (Multiple messages from all our stays overwhelmed me) Once we squared that away, we found dinner and brought it back to the room and settled in. The night sounds in the forest were great. My only suggestion is the steps be lit up for arrivals after dark.

The excellent quality of this stay did not change since my last stay 23 year’s ago.

Quite and secluded but mind your head on low beams and watch your step on different levels in rooms

Absolutely adorable! They had fruit oatmeal, coffee, and tea and bread with butter waiting for you so you had a great breakfast. We absolutely love the papaya and banana combo that was suggested. Bed set up was great as you felt privacy, but could hear the birds. And owners were very attentive. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.

Parking was easy, but my room was a bit dirty upon arrival with spider webs and literal dust on things. There was a dehumidifier but it was empty and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. They were supposed to come pick up my registration so I thought they'd fix the humidifier then (80% humidity in the room) but no one ever came. The free amenities they have in the guest supply is just one very bad shampoo and a little bar soap (which was okay). The kitchen is very minimal and has nothing to label your items with. I never came across another guest in the property, but I know they were there because doors would open/closer. Very great location, but there are many many options in this town where you may get better amenities with an actual host that would prepare and care for your room
