The property hosts a bar and restaurant, open late on the Friday night we were there. Our room,#1, is the closest room to the loud bar and the windows are adjacent to the bar’s patio. There was no hope of sleeping until it closed. It didn’t appear that any hotel staff were present when we arrived at 7:30. There’s no in-room coffee and no coffee service until 7 a.m. when the grill opens. The room was small but clean and pleasant.

Prairie Rose Inn is the best!

This stay was way beyond great! Nice room, great bar and bartender- wonderful food, al right at the Inn. Literally unpacked and stayed at the inn till we left the next day.

This is a totally eclectic experience. Fun, creative, original, resourceful. It appears to lack presently to hands-on management. Example: no bedside light. I had to keep a flashlight bedside. But it certainly does not lack character

This is not how businesses are supposed to operate

I checked into this hotel with 5 family members. When we entered the room my son noticed a large 3 inch gap in the bathroom door. It’s a hanging barn style door for the bathroom. This gives a direct view of however is on the toilet to everyone in the common area. I contacted the host with no resolution. I contacted hotels.com with no resolution. I wound up booking a different hotel right down the road and left. After asking for a refund from Prarie Inn and Hotels.com I was told no. I will never use this hotel or hotels.com again

We stayed here on the way home from a family vacation in Colorado. Had 2 rooms. Kids, grandkids, and seniors all found rooms and beds comfy and food delicious. Staff in restaurant was friendly and accommodating. The key free entry and no lobby check-in....went straight to room with personal key code texted to us... made this a very relaxing and pleasant experience. We have added this location to our "favorite places" to stay list.

Prairie Rose Inn was so unique. The room was huge and decorated perfectly. It was very clean and so comfortable. We were super impressed. We would definitely stay here again. We had breakfast at the cafe and it was very good. Thanks Prairie Rose Inn for a great stay!!!

Such a cute and cozy place! The room was clean and beautifully decorated — clearly a lot of care went into the design of both the room and the inn itself. Everything felt warm, inviting, and well-maintained. Having the option to grab breakfast and dinner on-site was a huge plus and made the stay even more convenient. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and comfortable place to unwind.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. What a pleasant surprise. If you are driving through Kansas and need a stop for the night, this is your place. The set up of the motel is perfect! The restaurant and patio is very nice. Good food, nice cocktails and great prices. Very nice staff. We have stayed in dozens of road motels and this one beats them all!
