We were very disappointed with the restaurant, the meals on offer were very ordinary- staff seemed very inexperienced with the executive chef taking the orders at the tables. We ordered a bottle of wine and the young man brought it to our table and didn’t attempt to open it , just walked away.
Breakfast was very poor - $25 per head, smorgasbord- hardly anything on offer - chef/ kitchen hand would come out with small bowls of food items to replace what had been eaten - we. Counted at least 12 people walk in and walk out.definitely wouldn’t recommend dinner or breakfast in restaurant

I will never use WOTIF or recommend to friends or Family. We booked our stay & paid for it weeks ago and cyclone Alf hit causing our flights to be cancelled . Our Car Hire company refunded our car hire, Virgin credited our flights. I think its appalling that WOTIF dont have a Human to talk to only chat bots. I spoke to the Hotel and they said they would cancel the Hotel no problem but it was booked through WOTIF i would need to contact them. I tried all day Thursday to contact WOTIF but every avenue lead to the same chat bot. in frustration on Friday morning i dailed the " Call an Agent" but again was put through to the chat bot. So i kept pushing 0 and eventually a human answered . They put me on hold and came back after 2 minutes and said that the hotel refused a refund and there is nothing that can be done about it. The booking was paid for in full and it was only cancelled due to a cyclone. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PATHETIC SERVICE.
Upon check in we were made to feel like valued guests and were welcomed warmly by the staff at reception. The room was beautifully decorated and presented and everything was clean, fresh and comfortable. We ordered room service and the food was delivered quickly and was out of this world delicious. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.
I spent a night at the hotel the only issue was that the kitchen closes at 8 which is a bit early. Rather than that it was very clean and well maintained
Reception staff were less than pleasant. Hardly spoke other than requested credit card and copy of licence.
Only one room key offered despite 2 people in room. Room was very heavily scented with windows closed so the smell was overpowering.
TV kept losing signal so we ended up switching off as we couldn’t watch any channels! WIFI was also very unreliable and patchy so that was annoying.
Very disappointing stay, I would not recommend for price.
Lovely hotel on the edge of the CBD. Unfortunately dining was closed when we arrived, but the Farmers Pub across the road has great food and was an excellent option.
Access card into building at night did not work. Had to call for Emergency Service as Reception was unmanned.

We had the ‘family executive room’ booked but it’s just a room with special access and features. Very appalled to see the condition of AC that cools the room in the third floor down after 4 hours of being HI at 17… and the bathroom although clean had water going in every direction after each shower. Very afraid for future people with families or guest with disabilities using the shower as water goes everywhere and becomes a trip hazard.
We were there was an executive coffee machine in the room - which turned out to be a kettle with expired coffee sachet. With 280 per night - very disappointing experience.
