The villa was not as clean as I would expect. Extra bed that I requested was terrible and I didn't get a good night's sleep at all on the pull out mattress. Really not what I expected and what was displayed on Hotels.com site. Staff was very friendly, but the request to provide a better bed fell on death ears and I didn't get any rest. We had heavy rain, and the front door could not be accessed without feet being soaking wet. This is due to the guttering not being maintained. Other than that the pools were nice. I won't however recommend this and if I could will request my money back. Long awaited trip and rest didn't turn out as I have planned it.

We had a restful 1 night stay, The room was clean and spacious though it was hot in the evening since there’s no air condition just a fan. My sister and her 2 girls used the pool and the hot tub, they enjoyed it.

The room was clean but in tired condition and needed refurbishment. Stayed twice in a week in different rooms (we had booked both stays ahead), both had similarly tired furnishings. We have stayed here in previous years, there are other rooms that have newer furnishings. The difference isn't made clear in the room descriptions but on reflection, the price is probably indicative. No airconditioning/heatpump to cool the room. There was a ceiling fan which we ran on the low setting all night when sleeping; this was adequate during our stays. The sport facilities are great - a nicely heated swimming pool, tennis court, basketball hoop, gym and kids' playground all in good condition, not forgetting the golf course too. Good for a quick run to the prawn farm and Huka falls too, if you're moderately fit.

We've stayed here a lot over the years but this will be our last. The rooms have always been run down but the facilities made up for it. This year even our kids got out of the pool as it was so gross and dirty. The food selection was minimal and expensive. The staff were great and friendly though
