This property is simply stunning and is a great spot just on the outskirts of town. Great walking tracks and places to eat onsite as well.

Beautiful hotel resort. We had a suite that was just perfect! The layout and views were amazing and it felt very spacious. There’s a restaurant available. The coffee breakfast was delicious. It is an older resort but very well maintained. We didn’t stay very long but there is a sauna available. The lake is just a quick walk out from any of the rooms and restaurants. I’m definitely planning to return to this location and the resort. Thank you!

We stayed one night in a superior apartment. We were very happy with our accommodation choice. The apartment was one of the renovated ones. It was roomy and had a view onto the lake and really convenient parking right outside. The dining at the hotel was okay, although much better options in the town of Wanaka, about 20 minutes walk away.

Great place to stay. Staff was helpful and friendly, the location is outstanding and so is the property. Green grass from the property leading up to the lake where I took a swim. Beautiful landscaping, relaxing and calm. It’s an easy walk to the town center yet away from its hustle and bustle. I walked the trail along the lake, it was delightful. I’ll definitely come back.

We will not stay there again. We werextod when we arrived that the dining room was fully booked both evenings wexwere there. No hint of this before although I talked with front desk a couple days before we arrived. Food service even for drinks severely messed up. Bar munchies were put in front of us with pizza uncut, drinks never arriving. Just a mess all around. Not what one should have to suffer when oaying $550NZ a day. Very disappointing experience for us as they just didnt care. We're 7500 miles from home and Valentines ruined along with 2 days of our stay in NZ

Ok for accommodation but eat elsewhere

Booked a Premier Suite for a one night stay. It was spacious, well equipped, had a comfortable bed and a very useful washer/dryer. Was hoping for a decent view of the lake, but we just had a glimpse as the room was facing towards the town and any view was obscured by trees. The biggest disappointment was dinner and breakfast. Our main dishes for dinner was unbelievably salty. Breakfast was very below par for what is claimed to be a luxury hotel.

Being situated on the lake it was advertised as a luxury property however we were very disappointed by the standard as it is quite outdated and in need of a renovation. Staff were not very nice when we arrived which set off our stay on a negative start. It is not sound proof so you can hear your neighbours. It has potential but we feel they take the location for granted and let down the experience of NZ and experiencing Wanaka as everyone should have a better experience than that. We wouldn’t go back as we can have a better stay elsewhere for the cost.
