Room was spotless and luxurious. Booking and checking required multiple messages through the app which were notified via email. Very confusing with 1 message giving general information, others providing a code to enter the garage, another to access the swipe cards to enter the block. The card then needed to enter the pair of apartments, then again to swipe into our apartment. Security overkill! Have travelled for 19 days in 10 accommodation venues. This is the most confusing and least communicative. Use email in future. Also could not access the pool or other facilities as advertised. No access to Reception - its a private apartment so no help apart from the host. Host responded to our emails quickly but advice to "check previous messages" not helpful. Which of the many messages holds which code? This puts me off Expedia. Other bookings have been great. This was the most expensive and least accessible ie nowhere outside to sit. Steps, steps, steps. Difficult for older folks with luggage. Will look elsewhere next visit...plenty of options in Wanaka if you book ahead.
