This wouldn't have been a bad stay if not for the dirty condition of our room. I've stayed at plenty of budget hotels, so my expectations are reasonable. However, this one seemed as though they made the bed, but never actually cleaned up after the last person. The bed sheets had popcorn pieces and kernels under the sheet, the sink

Disappointing Front Desk Service, but Good Stay Overall My check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff member, Tamara, was unprofessional and unwelcoming. When I arrived, she was on her phone and continued to scroll for several minutes even after I politely asked to check in. Her attitude was dismissive and rude both at check-in and again during check-out. On a positive note, the hotel room itself was clean and everything was in working order. Breakfast was good, though the potatoes served were undercooked. Overall, the poor customer service at the front desk significantly impacted my experience.

While hotels are expensive around DC, we expected more for over $200 a night. The hotel needed upgrades, upon arrival, we had to clean hairs from the bathroom floor and there were food crumbs on the carpet. The closet door was not attached correctly and fell off when opened. The breakfast was typical. The restaurant/bar did serve lunch & dinner. Seemed reasonably priced but we just had a beer. Most of the staff were friendly. The big plus for us was location. We bike and were able to hop on the bike trail and visit the monuments and museums. We also biked about a half mile to Shirleton where there were lots of places to eat as well as a movie theatre and grocery store.

This is the worst hotel (for the price they charge) that I have ever stayed at. First, the toilet clogged on the first flush. It unclogged on its own but took a good minute of holding the lever to fully flush each time, the entire stay. Second, the lights in the bathroom were a hit or miss. It was not about the lightbulb, but the switch was probably faulty. It took several times to switch up and down for the lights to come on, and they went out one time when I was in the shower. Third, there was a sketchy connecting door in-between my room and another one. It would have been fine, but the door was so thin that I could hear a conversation between several people in the adjoining room. They weren't even loud, it was not a party, but I could hear everything. I had to use earbuds and play music to sleep. I would recommend picking a different place, much cheaper and closer to a metro station.

NASTY- Location sketchy....Unbelievable I was SHOCKED by the 10/10 reviews this hotel is HORRIBLE, it needs to be inspected the mattresses are old and filthy masked with a mattress pad, we slept on the the top of the linen afraid....the staff are so used to complaints that their focus is not helping or pleasing the customer but protecting the owners money, when you speak of your disappointment the first thing they say is you will not get your money back what about I am sorry.......NEVER AGAIN......

As soon as I walked into the room there was a pungent smell of a spicy lunch. the floors were sticky so I assumed that it was just a remnant cleaning product. But, to my surprise, it was pure filth. I used a towel after my shower to shimmy around the floor due to the potential dirt. I was shocked by the amount of dirt. The white towel was black on the bottom of the towel!! BLACK. I have pictures and video as proof.
