Large 5 Bedroom Townhome 1.6 miles to White House. Near Metro and bus lines

Fabulous house in prime location . This large private home is great for groups and family gatherings. The large bedrooms on the upper two floors provide plenty of privacy and elegance. The property is a three story townhouse on a quiet street. This is a private home and has a warm, cozy feeling. The first floor is a large living room, dining room with seating for 12, a half bath, and well-stocked kitchen. The second floor features a large primary sun-filled bedroom looking over the front street with private bath, and two additional bedrooms with a "jack and jill" bath. The third floor has two additional large bedrooms with tall ceilings and views and a shared "jack and jill" bath. There is one parking space in the back and street parking for an additional car. The house is very well-lit and has excellent views. We have a wonderful cleaning crew that will have the house in immaculate condition when you arrive. We have hosted many families and wedding parties. As one recent guest said, it's a "[G]reat place to stay! Hosts were very responsive and lovely to work with. House was clean and spacious. Great location. Would highly recommend!"

If you need more space, please inquire about the lovely two-bedroom basement apartment, for an additional charge.

This house was absolutely perfect for us as a family staying for 10 days for our son’s wedding in DC. Kathleen and Paul were extremely helpful answering all our queries immediately and even put us up a Christmas tree for our granddaughter.

The house was great with lots of room for our family. We stayed over Thanksgiving and found everything we needed to cook a big feast in the well-equipped kitchen. They made check out VERY easy -- there was not a HUGE list of tasks to complete which we really appreciated as we had an early flight to catch our last day. I would note that there are steep stairs to enter the house from the street. We had one 90 year old in our group who managed them but we quickly found that entering from the back of the house was much easier.

Perfect Historic Property

This historic gem was perfect for my friends and I while in town for our 20 year college homecoming. The rooms were large, bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen had everything that you needed for meals together. Lots of furniture for dining together, relaxing, and catching up. Highly recommend.

DC Adventure

Property was spacious. Very clean. We parked our car and used public transportation to get to the different attractions. Homeowners were very attentive and easy to contact. Excellent stay for a famiky

We had five people for a wedding. The house was comfortable and we felt quite at home. The owners communicated clearly. It was great to be able to cook and if needed, use some vinegar and oil without buying all of that for a short stay. Highly recommend and if we need a large place in DC would certainly stay here again.

Great Space

Space was great, but we didn't know until after booking that law students lived in the Basement apartment and with 3 small boys and one infant, it was hard to keep them still and quiet given the old creaky floors. We would have chosen something where they could play and walk around freely.

Trip to Arlington National Cemetery

The place perfect for our family to relax and enjoy DC and Arlington National Cemetery. We went for a funeral service at ANC and wanted a place for 10 of us to hang out together rather than be in separate hotel rooms and it fit the bill. Everything was as listed and the accommodations were fine.

Great location Great hosts

We needed a place to stay in DC near the Convention Center. We were en route to NJ from OBX NC following a family vacation with grandkids and dogs. This house was perfect. Plenty of room for all , beautifully updated and maintained. Parking in back which fit our Chevy Suburban. If you need an extra parking space, the neighbor up the alley rents on on Spot Hero. Great hosts - highly recommend
