It was far more difficult getting a final invoice from the hotel than it should have been, the complication being between on-site and pre-paid charges that should have been sorted out immediately rather than take days of follow-up.

My son and I had an exceptional stay at The Westin Downtown DC. The hotel is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and delivers a truly elevated experience from start to finish. Every detail reflects quality, comfort, and professionalism. During our stay, we had a small matter that needed to be addressed, and Brett Haduch, the manager, went above and beyond to resolve it. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel like true five-star guests. The way he handled the situation exemplifies outstanding leadership and customer service. The entire staff was incredible in every way—courteous, attentive, and consistently welcoming. I highly recommend The Westin Downtown DC and would absolutely stay here again. An outstanding hotel with an exceptional team.

Very nice clean room. Christmas decorations in the lobby were really pretty. Starbucks in the lobby is always a great convenience. Staff was helpful with bags and check in was easy and fast. Lots of Christmas lights outside close to the hotel are wonderful and more than usual for DC. Great shopping and wonderful restaurants nearby. Ask for a room with a city view.

Restaurant seating was not available; room service was not available during its regular hours. Takeout was the only option available during the evening hours when I was there on a Tuesday evening. Elevators were not working near my room and I had to go to the other side of the hotel floor to get down and back up to my room.
