BED BUG ALERT! I had the misfortune of staying at the Quincy Ascend 6/6/25-6/8/25 for the World Pride event. At approximately 3:30am on 6/8/25, a bedbug crawled across my pillow. A picture was taken, and the bug was killed. We were moved to a new room at 5am. Upon checkout the next day, we inquired as to what they would be doing to address the issue. They advised that management was informed and they would reach out to us first thing Monday morning. I emailed Sirey Reyes (Operations Manager) Monday morning her notifying her that a bedbug was found in the room and that we had to purchase a heater and new luggage. The picture of the bedbug was provided. The response I received was "We have already scheduled a licensed pest control company to inspect the room thoroughly. The inspection is set for Thursday, June 12th. We must wait for the results of the inspection before discussing any potential compensation." The General Manager, Ibrahim Bajrami, was copied on this email. Pictures of the bedbug bites that started to appear on 6/10/25 were sent to management along with a copy of the invoice for the heater. On 6/12/25, I received an email stating "no signs of bed bug activity or infestation were found in either room". They then stated they will not be proceeding with reimbursement at this time. I have since disputed all charges for this hotel to cover the extra expenses and will be filing a report with the Washington DC Health Department. Do not stay here!

Great hotel! Staff was nice & amazing and even let us check in a bit earlier before the time since a room was ready. Lobby entrance is cute & provides a few soft drinks & popcorn for free and a few items for sale! Our room was cute as well, loved that the kitchen just had everything we needed perfectly. Surrounded by so much that you’d need a Wawa, pizza place, taco place, and bagel, even Nordstrom rack. We enjoyed our stay very much. Front side of the hotel view is gorgeous.

The room was very spacious and the kitchenette was very nice. Once you looked closer you could tell that many things were in need of updating/repair, like rusty drains and broken tiles. We had no air conditioning for almost our entire stay so they brought us a fan (for an 80 degree room). We had no hot water after the first two minutes for our entire stay and the tub did not drain. Staff was very nice about everything, but you could definitely tell they get the same complaints a lot.

Overall stat was good. I would probably stay again. It was nice have a full kitchen. Our window was left open from prior guest. Discovered it was open after suffering the loud noises overnight. Towel holder was not secure on wall.
