Fantastic location and super staff

This was my fourth stay at the hotel Washington. I enjoy the location as it’s very convenient to the business district in Washington as well as great restaurants. The Vue rooftop bar is spectacular, but you need to get up there early in order to grab a seat at the bar as it fills up quite quickly after 4 o’clock I had a room on the eighth floor with a view of the mall and the White House the room was incredibly clean well appointed although the coffee maker did not work, but the hotel gave me a $15 credit for the restaurant downstairs, which more than made up for the inconvenience of not having a working coffee maker. The only point I would raise is that the shower uses large format marble tiling and is incredibly slippery. I nearly fell twice. I think they should provide a rubber mat. Other than that this is a spectacular hotel that always gets my highest recommendation for a stay in Washington DC.

The bathrooms not very functional. The counters in the bathroom were very small and so was the commode. The hotel staff also insist you go to your room after midnight and not be in the lobby common areas. The rooms were spacious and the house keeping staff were great.

It is a very swanky place. If you’re traveling as a family it is a great location. Please note that the shower in some rooms (like ours) does not have a solid door. It does have a cloudy glass door on the shower, but that is in direct view of on of the beds.. we had to stay on one side of the room each time one of us took a shower. Other than that it was great!!

Hotel Washington was incredible. We had friends getting married at the Willard and we needed something a little more affordable but close. It was grand in its own way with nice clean modern aesthetic mixing with the classic building. The staff was always so helpful and friendly from the front desk, to the night auditor and the valet staff. We chose one of the more affordable rooms and we still had a view of the White House! We’ll definitely be back!

Had issues getting the roll away bed they said they'd provide and then had to ask for bedding. Beds came minimally appointed with minimal pillows. Room has completely empty accomdations. No mini fridge or drinks.
