Nice clean hotel. Staff was friendly. Close to Capital building. Close to Union Station. Bus stop was 1/2 a block away. There were always taxis in the area. Restaurant was good service and food. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Modern well appointed rooms. The bar and restaurant were good and staff really friendly and helpful. The location is great for the Capitol and national Mall with all the museums but a bit far from restaurants and night life if you are going out in the evenings.

Get rid of the resort fee

Great spot. Directly across from the Capitol and easily walking distance to Union station. Approximately 30 min UBER to Dulles. Rooms were clean and comfortable. One large issue is the resort fee. This is NOT a resort and does not offer anything beyond a comfortable clean stay.

From when I first walked in, staff greeted me. Assisted with checkin as I was going to check out a day early. Room was clean and I did request an extra blanket (based on reviews I read prior to my visit 😉). I had forgotten to pack toothpaste and when I inquired at Mission Control, they were to provide, not only toothpaste but a toothbrush as well. Dining options were wonderful, food looked and tasted great! I will definitely stay at Yotel again! Thank you for making my stay so wonderful!

Young persons hotel too reliant on technology.

The place is geared towards younger people. For example for our king bed it was set up as a couch and you press a button to have it convert to a bed. This place tries to have people check-in using a kiosk. The problem was only certain types of rooms were able to check-in with the kiosk. There was only one staff person to help people check in so the line was over an hour long.

Everything was welcoming and accessible the staff was knowledgeable and friendly everything was in walking distance the rooms were a vibe from the adjustable bed to the mood lighting it’s a very modern feel clean and up to date there is self check in there’s also always someone up front to answer any questions you may have I’d recommend

Lightning issues

This is a bare bones hotel. The contemporary concept they are going for is more like minimalistic cheap. The lighting was my main issue. The room only had the bedside pen lights, study lamp, and a spotlight floor lamp that really just lit a spot (kind of like a flashlight) The entryway light did not work. The bathroom light was on a sensor that would go off @ 1-2 min. So when I showered, the light would shut off multiple times! I had to open the shower door and wave at the sensor to get it to turn back on several times.
