The room was suffocating and hot, we followed the instructions on the thermostat to lower the temperature which did nothing to help. Fortunately it is early spring so with the window open and the ceiling fan on it would cool off by midnight in the room enough to sleep. The pool is closed for the winter which we did not know until booking was finalized.

Great little getaway

Great little windy town. We went off season so most shops and restaurants were closed but it was the perfect quiet getaway. Comfy beds and great service. Be warned its windy here.

Overall the property was quiet and some updates in the room but more updates are needed including carpets, and curtains, they were awful to close and would still let light in. Only complaint was the front of toilet bowl (outside) to the floor was not wiped as it had dried on owe dribbles which isn’t very sanitary. I would stay again we did enjoy our time away but just some suggestions to elevate the rooms. The lady who checked us in/out was very friendly and welcoming.

We were not informed that check in was across the street at a different hotel, even though i had just spoken with front desk staff 1/2 hr before. There were 3 large box elder bugs inside, on the window ledge, that cleaning staff should have seen and removed if they had drawn the curtain back to check cleanliness.
