Our stay had several positives. The home is very cute & thoughtfully decorated, & you can tell the owner has made nice upgrades to an older property. The neighborhood felt quiet during our stay, & we appreciated having three bedrooms so each of our kids could have their own space. The backyard was also a great bonus for traveling with dogs, & the location was convenient for getting around the area. The host was responsive when we reached out, which we appreciated.During the stay, we did run into some cleanliness and pest-related concerns. When putting clothes into the dresser, my husband noticed droppings in one of the drawers. In the kitchen we also saw a bug trap and crumbs left on the counter. I sent photos to the host, who offered to have the housekeeping company come by, which I declined at the time since those issues seemed minor initially. As the stay went on, however, we noticed several bugs in the house including roaches, millipedes, and spiders. When we were preparing to leave, I stripped some of the beds and noticed the mattress protector in the primary bedroom had visible stains that looked like marker and possibly urine. I shared this information with the host so she would be aware for future guests.Overall, the home has charm & potential. The decor is inviting, the backyard space is nice for pets, & communication from the host was prompt. With some additional attention to cleaning and pest control, the property could provide a more comfortable experience!
