The home was as described, clean, a short walk to the water, and perfect for our family. Communication was good and we are glad we stayed! One suggestion would be for bed linens to be readily made on the bed. It was a bit of a surprise to find the clean linens folded and all beds needing to be made (this single Momma didn’t expect to do work) but wasn’t a deal-breaker as everything was clean. My kids liked the area but I would say the playground area is best suited for kids 10 and under as the play equipment is for smaller children and the basketball pad is also quite small. We still enjoyed our time (even the teenagers) walking, hanging out in the beach/dock area, etc. The beach has a sea wall and doesn’t slope directly into the water so I would recommend swimming at Yankee Springs or from another beach if that’s the type of beach feel you’re aiming for. As other reviewers stated, the rooms are open at the ceilings so lights can be seen and noise has to be kept at a minimum so as to not disturb others—-again, not a deal breaker but renters may wish to have this information. Overall, the value for the money, cleanliness, and proximity to so much makes it a win! We would consider staging here again!! :)
