Lækkert sted

Dejligt sted, nyt og flot. Små hovedpuder og lidt mærkelig indretning med toilet, toiletvask og dampbad. Apropos dampbad, pas på med at røre ved den hvide cirkel. Den bliver meget varm og jeg fik desværre en 2 grads forbrænding, da jeg kom til at røre den.

Insgesamt ist es ein schönes Hotel. In den Zimmern fehlt ein bisschen „Liebe zu Detail“. Unsere Klimaanlage war leider defekt und die Raumtemperatur ließ sich nicht steigern. So waren es konstant 19 Grad-noch okay, aber gemütlicher wären 2-3Grad mehr gewesen.

Die Zimmer zur Seitenstraße sind leider bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr belästigt durch den Lärm einer Kühlanlage o. ä. Die Dampfdusche im Zimmer sind eine tolle Idee.

Für Kinder nur bedingt geeignet.

Leider ist unsere Buchung zunächst untergegangen, was den Start etwas holprig gemacht hat. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber – da gibt es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Was uns allerdings enttäuscht hat: Wir wurden im Vorfeld nicht über die eingeschränkten Spa-Zeiten für Kinder informiert. Für Familien mit Kindern ist das Hotel daher leider nur bedingt geeignet. Ein klarer Hinweis darauf bei der Buchung wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Fint hotel, personalet mangler dog kvalitet

Selve hotellet er rigtigt fint og gode, store værelser. Dog virker det til at personalet i den grad mangler noget træning i alle facetter af det at drive et hotel. Lige fra receptionen, som ikke er sådan helt vildt kundeservicemindede til måske specielt restauranten. Vi gik i receptionen og bestilte en tre-retters menu til lidt senere på aftenen. Da vi så kommer til restauranten, aner de ikke hvad der er bestilt, der går en time inden forretten kommer og i mellemtiden er der forsøgt serveret nogle forkerte ting til os. Vi havde en baby med også, så tid på aftenen er også en faktor. Da vi efter 1,5 time og vel en 2-3 forskellige tjenere endelig får vores hovedret, må vi skovle det i os for at komme videre og putte baby. Det var samtidig tydeligt, at vi ikke var de eneste der oplevede samme udfordringer, da vi kunne høre rundt i restauranten at flere og flere brokkede sig, jo længere tid der gik.

Flot hotel med god service – men ikke det mest bør

Vi havde et godt ophold på Slowdown Hotel, hvor faciliteterne var flotte, og personalet meget imødekommende. Hotellet har en skøn atmosfære, og servicen var rigtig god. Dog oplevede vi, at hotellet ikke var særlig børnevenligt. Poolens åbningstider for børn var meget begrænsede (kun 10-12 og 14-16), men dette var slet ikke nævnt ved booking, hvilket var en stor skuffelse, da vi havde valgt hotellet netop for at kunne nyde poolen sammen som familie. Derudover fik vi ved en fejl et kørestolsvenligt værelse, hvilket betød nogle ændringer i indretningen i forhold til de billeder, vi havde set. Da vi gjorde hotellet opmærksom på dette, var de meget imødekommende og sørgede for en god kompensation, hvilket vi satte stor pris på. Alt i alt et flot hotel med god kundeservice, men hvis du rejser med børn, anbefaler vi at dobbelttjekke faciliteterne, så de lever op til dine forventninger.
