Welcome to Wesenberg, a picturesque town in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District, close to Germany’s largest inland lake, Lake Müritz, and the national park named after it.
Your holiday home is located halfway between the medieval castle and the city harbor on the banks of the Woblitz, just 50 m from the lake, with a lake view from the terrace.
The historic market square with shops is about 500 m away. Two supermarkets are around 2 km away. A fishery with rustic snack bar and café can be reached in a 10-minute walk. A bakery is 500 m away, and there’s a cozy beer garden below the castle. Several restaurants are nearby.
Lake Woblitz is perfect for dinghy sailors—one of the most beautiful areas in the lake district. There is space for boats, canoes, and SUPs on the property. Rechlin on Lake Müritz is just a 30-minute drive. Lake Weiser is about 2 km away and offers a lifeguarded area and a non-swimmer section.
The apartment features a living room, bedroom, kitchen (stove with ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave), and bathroom.
A covered terrace invites you to relax. Smoking is only allowed outside. Use of the washing machine is possible for longer stays by arrangement. The sauna can be used; please bring your own sauna towels and use the wood-burning stove properly.
For stays between 01.04. and 31.10., a local tourist tax applies, payable on site.
