"Sea Gypsy" Waterfront newly renovated, beautiful views, dock, beach!

The Sea Gypsy is located on the second Dennis water lagoon off Bass River. The dock has deep water access with 5 minute boat ride to the mouth of Bass River. Bring your kayaks, jet skis or boat and enjoy Nantucket Sound or a casual evening ride down Bass River to the Summer Shanty for steamers and live music! Cook on the Weber grill and dine on the 2 new patios watching our stunning sunsets. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck with beautiful views across the water to the white sandy Dennis beaches with the best kite surfing on Cape Cod! Little ones will enjoy the warm water and small waves. Beach chairs and pull wagon provided for an easy stroll to the beach which has a snack shack for lunch and bathrooms.

** Linens are 'not' included in the rental fee but starting this 2023 season, with 7+ night reservations, we will be providing bed and bath linen service. Once you book, we will follow up with the arrangements.

The home is located on a tranquil corner grassy lot with plenty of room for lawn games. Bedrooms and kitchen are newly renovated, with a large eat in kitchen, all new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, and seating for 10, including a big 'lobsta' pot! All new beds, mattresses, flooring and carpets. New central air conditioning, high speed internet, cable channels and HDTV. The outside shower is large with a dressing area, mirror, plenty of hooks for wet bikini bottoms.

By boat, you are 13 miles to the tip of Chatham for Striped Bass fishing in the rips or an hour ride to Edgartown Harbor, MV for the day of shopping or Baxter's in Hyannis Harbor for fish & chips. Next town over in Hyannis there are ferries to the islands as well.

Master bedroom: Located down the end of the hall with its own 3/4 bath, wall mounted LCD TV and a bed hand made for a Captain. Open the windows and siding glass door for cool cross winds. Queen size mattress and large closet.

Bedroom 2: Bunk room with two large built in twin bunk beds and another bunk bed with full mattress on bottom and twin on top.

Bedroom 3: Lawn view facing south with lots of light, queen bed, vanity and large closet.

Bonus Room (Bedroom 4): Has a beautiful view of the water and back yard with a sliding glass door and many windows. Queen bed and over sized day bed.

This home is perfect for a large family or 2 small ones with children. No parties, quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful Property

Our stay was amazing from start to finish - the house is spectacular and spacious. The big, modern kitchen was wonderful with everything that we needed and more. The views were beautiful and its a quick walk to West Dennis Beach, The Sand Bar, Lighthouse Inn (nice restaurants)...etc. Stephen was a great host and very easy to interact with. The next time we want to stay in West Dennis, I will be reaching out to him!

We love this property. It is spacious and comfortable. The location is convenient to everything and the view is spectacular. We have close friends who have a house and boat 2 fingers over and this allows us to have fun times with them. Stephen is very accessible and quick with responses. Perfection!

How can I even begin to express what the Sea Gypsy added to our family reunion. The moments were magical in part because the house is quiet, comfortable and so relaxing. We spent evenings just chatting by the fireplace. Had good times cooking together and eating outside by the canal. The beds are so comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated and so serene. We are looking forward to returning and spending more time together in this beautiful home.

The title should explain it all. The property has all the amenities we want for our two week stay and is well maintained. This is the reason we keep coming back! A wonderful getaway

Sea Gypsy was perfect for our family, we thoroughly enjoyed our week there! The home has such a fun nautical theme inside and it has everything we could have desired in a home away from home. The outdoor shower is a particularly nice feature, and the kitchen is really well laid out for cooking up hearty meals. Leaving our 23 ft boat tied up at the dock was so convenient, there is probably no quicker way to get out on Nantucket Sound and venture off to the islands for a day trip. When staying on land we often found ourselves relaxing in the outdoor space, watching the seaside life come and go with the tide. The hosts are super friendly, helpful, and communicative. We would love to stay here again on a future trip!

Terrific Time at the Sea Gypsy

House is beautiful and perfectly appointed for our group of 9. Everything is so thoughtfully designed to make staying there a delight. Location is great, 15 minute walk or a short drive to the beach and centrally located to visit either side of the cape. Stephen was a pleasure to text with and he gave us great suggestions for places to visit. Overall a wonderful time and we can see why there are so many return visitors! The perfect home in the perfect location

This home was perfect for our family. We were able to keep our boat at the dock which was also perfect to launch our paddleboards. The neighborhood was safe for the kids to go off biking and West Dennis beach was close enough to walk or bike to. We would definitely rent here again.

A beautiful property right on the fingers in West Dennis - couldn't have been better for my husband, our three teenage boys, and me. We enjoy staying at Sea Gypsy. It's our 2nd time here. The house is in great shape and has an excellent location. Easy trip to the beach (driving, walking or biking). Views of the water from the house are stunning. Easy drives to other towns like Chatham and good restaurants near by.
