It was very upset because the reason I chose this hotel was because there was a pool. I was traveling with my granddaughter and promised her that we would play in the pool. I even told her if she was super good that that was her prize. We got to the hotel and the pool was shut down. They said it wouldn’t be fixed until Monday. We arrived on a Friday. The next day, I noticed that the sign was off of the pool door and I asked if the pool was available and the person at the front desk said no the pool wouldn’t be available until Monday. We were thinking about moving hotels but with our plans, we would’ve been without a place for several hours in the middle of the day and then we had to be at our event at 4 o’clock in the afternoon so we couldn’t move on Sunday morning. We walked by the pool and there are people swimming in the pool. Apparently it was open on Saturday and the person at the front desk didn’t check into it. He just said it was closed. This made for a very hard weekend with a four-year-old after I had promised her all week that that was her prize for being so good. I complained to the hotel staff and they gave me a whopping $20. I do not think that was sufficient as I would’ve stayed somewhere else. Had I known the pool was not operating.

I stay here whenever I'm in the area. Its well maintained, I've had a couple times where something was broken. (Shower handle would spin and not turn on, another time the wall outlet didn't work so I couldn't charge my phone next to the bed). Nothing major, and the staff apologized and tried to make it right. I'll keep coming back, I understand that things happen.
