Nice King Suite

Hotel is in very good shape, maybe 10 years old. Pool and waterslide was excellent for 7 yro. Breakfast selection was excellent, with waffle station, sausages, eggs, and hash browns with all the regular cold choices. Decent coffee, juices, and yogurts. Would stay here again. Did find booking online cheaper than going phoning Fairfield reservation desk.

i arrived just after 5pm and they told me my room wasn't ready - check in is at 4pm so not sure why my room wouldn't be ready. They were able to find me a different room. Staff were nice. My room was a bit gross though - little details matter like cleaning the walls and bathroom door and floor would be a great thing to do....

There was a power outage. Staff seemed ill prepared. all the emergency lights in hallways and stairs were not working > Staff new about the problem but offer no solutions. ie flashlights, candles etc. Not impressed.

Frustrated

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and it’s starting to show some wear. Our air conditioner didn’t work right on our first night but they did not want to change my room, very frustrating. However in the end after i got a bit mad with being told no they moved me. Don’t understand why it came to that.

Good affordable hotel, room was adequately clean, beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was loud, breakfast bar was fresh. Pool was alright, floor had chunks missing from it and the slide looked very fast for young children.

We stayed for 5 days and they cleaned the room once with the excuse that we sent them away on day 2 since they only clean every other day. The washroom had mold and even after they cleaned the only time, it was still there. They never refilled soap, lotion or body wash. The breakfast is the same every day (eggs, potatoes, sausage, bread yogurt, oatmeal and you can make your own waffle without any toppings but the maple syrup, same fruits everyday (banana, apple). We talked to front desk about cleaning on day 3 since our room was untouched and even though they said they'd ask for a refill of towels and toilet paper, no one came. We had to go to the reception to get towels and toilet paper. The pool is cold and dirty as well as the washroom in the pool area. It smelled like pee and had a bunch of insects. Overall, it was cheap for what they offered, but too expensive for what we actually got and cutting down on cleaning isn't the way to go for our family. We wouldn't recommend or stay there again.
