Little Dipper - Fall Couples Escape!
The newly built single-level studio is perfect for a couple or business travel. Amenities include a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, induction cooktop, propane grill, electric fireplace, washer and dryer, luxury cotton linens, and a king mattress.
Filtered lake views on a quiet street with plenty of driveway parking for vehicles and RV hookups (220V hookup may also be used for EVs). Walking distance to Knotty Pines Marina, Big Cove, and Lake Almanor Resorts, restaurants, and a convenience store.
You’ll love the deep-forest feel while also being close to many amenities. Adjoining main house (also a short-term rental and can be booked together for more space + full kitchen and laundry), but lots of space between the buildings. You have your own dedicated driveway, large enough for an RV and one additional vehicle, and fairly flat.
Corner driveway and studio. Garages are for the other VRBO listing; however, if you need access, feel free to ask us in advance. The small garage attached to the unit has a grill and a washer/dryer, which guests will have access to through the garage. Guests must walk outside the unit to access the garage.
The space is yours, and we`re just a call away if you need us. Always a message or call away. You might see other guests staying in the Big Dipper house, but you have separate spaces, parking, entrances, and common areas.

Plenty of parking for cars, and during the summer, you can rent bikes.
Stargazer is a shared property with the Little Dipper Studio and Big Dipper 2BD/2BA (another VRBO listing), which can be booked together if you’d like more space and/or the property all to yourself. During the COVID-19 outbreak, we are taking extra cleaning precautions and are happy to host. If you need space and fresh air, this is the place. The Big Dipper and the Little Dipper are separated by 40 feet and a common lawn. They have separate driveways, parking, and outdoor seating. There are external cameras on walkways, the garage, and the entrances.
A garage door opener will be provided, giving guests access to the grill and the washer/dryer.
We love dogs at Stargazer. We kindly ask that you never leave your pet unattended, refrain from allowing them on the furniture, and clean up after your dog. Only one dog is allowed in this unit. If you plan to bring more than one dog, prior approval is required, and an additional cleaning fee will be charged. ($25/dog/night)
There is NO smoking or vaping allowed on the property.
Finally, since our property is in CA, we are prone to rolling blackouts. These blackouts affect power and the internet. We have no control over when these blackouts occur, and while they’re brief, they can be inconvenient for some guests. Most guests who experience the blackouts understand it’s temporary and enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing property; however, if you need to be connected 24/7 with zero interruptions, this may not be the property for you. Please consider this before booking, as there are no refunds for any inconvenience.
*We have a generous cancellation policy, and while we realize that you may need to cancel, if you do so, we will withhold 3% to cover the fees we pay our credit card processors. Thank you for understanding.
No smoking or vaping anywhere on property. We live in wild fire area so please be respectful of our rules to protect our beautiful area and property. If you’re bringing a dog, you must disclose this to us and agree to our dog rules prior to arrival. There is a maximum of 1 dog allowed for this unit unless agreed upon prior to arrival with hosts. If we allow additional dogs, there will be an additional fee of $25 per dog per night..
If you use the grill, we ask that it stays at least 10 feet away from any structure to reduce the risk of fire.
Guests are NOT allowed or permitted to tamper with or disable the Internet and security cameras that are located, disclosed, and in plain view on the property. The Internet, and subsequent wifi systems, control the HVAC, door locks, emergency generator, and other essential functions of the house and property. Tampering with any of the external cameras, router, Wi-Fi points, or Vivent panel will immediately result in your reservation being terminated and you will be asked to leave the property immediately.
