Very good

Room was very clean and tidy and had been redecorated to a high standard. Check in/out was seamless and the staff were very attentive. We had a buggy and a 1 year old so the lift was very handy. We found a few stairs once up on the third floor and we found this a little challenging as the corridor is quite narrow as well. Sea view was excellent and we would definitely stay again

We stayed for a two night break over the weekend of the Folk Music Festival.
Lots of good points. Great location, large clean room, staff very efficient and easy to deal with, excellent continental breakfast for just £4.95 each. Good also that bar open in the evening with reasonable prices. There was a lift from reception to just outside our room.
The room had a lovely sea view but only when standing up by the quite high level window. An idea would be to put a couple of bar stools by the window so you could sit with a drink and look out. It was a large room and could be improved by having a king size rather than double bed and a bit more furniture - nowhere to rest your cases (apparently you can ask for folding case holders but we only discovered on check out), no drawer space for clothes, very small bedside tables.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Hotel staff very friendly and happy to help. The bed was comfortable, and room was clean. Would stay there again.
Hotel is ideally situated, check in was nice and easy. Hotel is rather dated and does need modernisation. Bed was rather uncomfy, thin windows let in alot of outside noise. Reported wifi not working 6 times over 2 days but this wasnt fixed. Bathroom run down and could have done with a good clean. Room a good size and staff friendly

Staff are lovely however room wasn’t quite clean when we arrived and had a lingering smoke smell.
This hotel was fine for our random 2 day trip but no longer. The hotel does need REFURBISHING as pretty dated and also in our room the window was broke. the person next door was very noisy at kicking the doors at 2.30 in the morning . The positives near thy everything ie train station beach and town.
the room was ok , sea view but the windows were dirty , everything needs refurbished to be honest. i can`t complain that much because the bathroom was ok and beds were comfortable enough. I will recommend the hotel because its good enough for a few days and the position that it is situated
My stay was for a deluxe family room which was £154 for one night for 2 adults and 2 children..no breakfast!
It was clean and large but the curtains were hanging off and very thin.. the shower was very poor..chips in the bath and just a bit shabby overall.. the staff were friendly enough but quite disappointed with a deluxe room..

We stayed for one night in a family room with a beautiful sea view. Sat in the window seats drinking wine and watching the world go by! Lovely place and will be returning
