Solo trip, okay to crash for a night or two..
The hotel is right on the sea front, 1 minute to the beach & town, so it’s location is pretty spot on.. I was stayed 1 night & it was okay.
Was upgraded to a lovely sea view room. South African chap on reception very friendly and informative. Everything was great. Didn't partake of it but their continental breakfast at £4.95 seemed to represent excellent value for money. Excellent range of tea/coffee left in our room too.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They have food and a selection of alcoholic, non alcoholic and te and coffee. The food is amazing, my favourite was the truffle and parmesan cheese chips.
Not good. Dirty room and the most uncomfortable bed. Checked pillows to make sure they weren’t wooden slabs.
Only good thing was location.
And very expensive for such poor accommodation.
Very basic, in the middle of an area that attracts a certain type of visitor. If thats what you’re after then it’s perfect, but not for us.
NOTE hotel advertises that you get a preferential parking rate at QPark multi storey, citing that you just talk to the parking attendant over intercom at payment, to claim £6/day rate. In reality you cannot contact anyone at payment point, i I settled mine at £32/day

Overpriced
Small bedroom. Comfy dbl bed. Tired and dated room. Leaky shower cubicle. No view. Overpriced.

We had an amazing room with a sea view. It really was lovely.
No hot water in the bathroom
Dirty beaker in bathroom.
Waste bin dirty with no liner.
Toilet room without usable handwashing facilities - nowhere for soap or towel.
After a disappointing start to out weekend with our first booking we managed to book this hotel last minute and the staff especially the manager went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely room with great views, really good hotel
Really lovley hotel right on the beach front. Staff very nice and wrll spoken. Upg4aded our room for free. Only downside is it was super hot on the upper floor and in the room. They provided a fan but had to sleep on top of covers and sweating. Granted, it is summer in the UK

Our view!
Wonderful view. Shame about the uneven floor, very dirty stained carpet & access to shower quite tricky to get in & out!

Uncomfortable bed, air conditioning didn't work, pillows rubbish, stained floor. Only good thing being the view.
This is our third stay in this lovely hotel. I love it, they’re so friendly, very welcoming. It’s so close to all amenities & the harbour. My only criticism was that they no longer offer a parking permit or concession for the bays outside the front. I have a blue badge and my husband had to park the car in the Pavilion at a cost of £15 per day.
