Sweet spot in Dolan Springs. Felt like we were part of the neighborhood staying here. Close to food and the highway, beautiful mountains all around, sounds of springtime in the morning and bright stars at night.

We rented Trevor and Michelle's cabin to get to the west rim of the Grand Canyon. We had Ziplining at 10 am and we left by 920am to get there. We missed our check in so they stuck us in with the 11am group. After driving from the South Rim and a day of exploring the West Rim it was nice to come back to a beautiful, homey, cabin and watch the sun set on the desert of pink rock and Joshua trees. We had a fire in the pit, (me and three teens) and enjoyed being able to chill. There was plenty of room and board games, and even a telescope. Trevor & Michelle think of everything you might need and make it convenient to be there! We had good sleep with comfortable beds and sheets too. Thank you for sharing your family's cabin with us! All the necessities for a quick Grand Canyon getaway,!

We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Never experienced stars and sunrise in such a clear and pure way. It was a great feeling to be disconnected from the world and enjoy this gorgeous earth. We had tough time finding it in the dark, so we do suggest going there during the day light. It has everything you need! If we are ever in the area, we will certainly stay again.

The owner was very attentive to us and was so pleasant to speak with. Even before we arrived; in the directions it stated watch out for Cows, that was a fact. Free range cattle every where, with cattle guards all along the roads and bold writing on pavement. You Will need a high clearance vehicle to traverse the terrain. With that being said, maps will take you straight to the location with no problem. Oh and you will need a hot spot box while you’re on the road due to very spotty service. You can use your phone but it will drain your battery. Once you arrive and go inside you will be so pleased with your decision. Beautifully decorated and everything you need at your disposal. There is no TV but we honestly didn’t need one because you are gone all day and at night sitting on the back porch looking up at the stars will blow you away, if you’re not use to seeing the constellation. We got our staple goods in Vegas but honestly their is a Family Dollar down the road that Carries all you would need. Even frozen meals and such. Now if you want alcohol get it way before you arrive. I rated this 5 stars across the board with the exception of location due to it being a little far away from everything, but to our surprise we adjusted quickly and it didn’t phase us after the first day. It was a wonderful experience and we wouldn’t change a thing.
