Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This Extended Stay facility feels more like public housing than a hotel. It appears to be being used for temporary housing for NY state Section 8 welfare recipients and homeless people. We all know this is a serious issue in the US but Expedia users should know that the hotel is serving this purpose ahead of time. I found the hotel to be dirty, noisy, and have lots of cigarette smokers just outside the doors, in violation of the NY state 100 foot rule. It's one of lowest quality hotels I've stayed in that I can remember. The hotel location isn't bad, you're close to White Plains and public tranport to NYC. But you're hearing banging noises at late hours and people screaming from the rooms next door. Breakfast is non-existent. It feels like the owners of this "hotel" haven't invested in it in many years. There were only four outlets in my room, all near the kitchen area. None near the bed nightstand. Forget about plugging your iPhone in anywhere near the bed. Overall, this place doesn't feel clean and is way overpriced for what you're getting.
