Well we've got the perfect spot for you!
The Nestle Inn Gaspereau is a spacious, brand new guest suite in easy walking distance of all the highlights of the Gaspereau Valley & only a 5 min drive to Wolfville & Acadia University! Walk a few mins across the street to Benjamin Bridge winery, check out our local farm market & explore gorgeous nature trails right from your door! Or just "nestle in" and take in amazing valley views from your own private covered patio.
***Please note, this property is not well suited to persons with mobility issues, as there are two flights of exterior stairs from the parking to the private suite entrance, as depicted in the photos. Parking may be available at the top of the driveway upon discussion with hosts and you can always unload there :)
Our brand new guest suite is designed to be a comfy, beautiful spot for 2-4 guests. The rooms are decorated with all new furnishings and bright, modern decor as well as vibrant acrylic paintings by Julie, your hostess. There is a separate bedroom with a king bed, and the living room sofa folds out into a comfortable thick, memory foam mattress that is great for 1-2 additional people. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, kettle and toaster, as well as utensils, dishware, glassware, pots, pans and bowls. Chef it up on your own private patio with a brand new Napoleon gas grill.
Our home is situated in the heart of the Gaspereau Valley, built onto the south-facing hillside of Wolfville Ridge. The sweeping valley view from the guest suite is amazing--you can see the South Mountain, farmers fields, the vineyards of Benjamin Bridge winery, the rushing rapids of the Gaspereau River, Riverborn farm market and the actual Benjamin Bridge (for which the winery is named) which spans White Rock Canal--an excellent place for walking, swimming, paddleboarding..and only steps from the door of the Nestle Inn!
The property itself features gorgeous tall hardwood trees on all sides of the home which give the home a secluded, almost treehouse-like vibe. There is an abundance of birds in these trees, and eagles are a very common sight directly above and in front of the house, as they love fishing in the canal and riding the thermal breezes overhead. You will feel tucked away in serene nature...and yet we are only a few steps/minutes away from all the action :)
The guest suite is on the main floor level of the home. Guests are invited to park in the lower parking lot and use the wooden stairs and path that lead from the guest parking, up the left side of the property to the suite patio. The pathway will be well lit at night. Guests have their own, coded entry with complete privacy. Your hosts, Julie and Colin, live in the upper two levels of the home and are always available to answer your questions and give recommendations. Since we opened two years ago, we are now one of the highest-rated private guest accommodations in the area. Give us a try and you will see why :)
