Mostly not maintained, missing and broken items in both rooms we used. In hotel lobby by elevator the table is broken do not lean on . Hotel aisles are mildew smelling. How this rated as a 4 star is surprising after staying here. I’ll have too research more on hotels I use through this app. Stayed cool and slept okay. Only a one day stay.

Avoid this place

Well let's just get down to it. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It's very old, worn out and in an unsavory area. The red outdoor exterior lighting makes it look like a brothel at night. The building needs a total update, repairs and paint. The furniture in the breakfast area looks terrible (see pics) and the floor was messy. Breakfast was good overall with good selection and taste. Only one elevator was working The pool was closed for two of three days we were there. The nightly noise, drinking, drug use and partying in the back parking lot until 2am was disturbing and we were unable to sleep. First night, the desk clerk said all they could do is call the police and report it. Second night the desk clerk said they would notify the manager. We reported it both nights at 11pm. Basically they did nothing to stop it any earlier that we could tell and it went on for hours afterwards. The grounds exterior were overgrown and trash was present. The entry door trash can was overflowing. The desk clerk standing at the entry door and smoking with her unsavory group of friends(?) was an extra special touch. Love how the cigarette smoke just flows right into the lobby. Smells great. Our room was ok. Appeared to be clean overall. Appeared to have been updated at some point in the past. Upon checkout, the desk clerk did not ask how our stay was and did not say thank you. We informed the desk clerk that our stay basically sucked, and she did not care one bit and did not reply.

Trouble at check in. Reserved and prepaid for 2 queen beds (at a higher rate at than a king). At check in we were told they had overbooked and only option was a king. Was told no discount or reimbursement for difference.

I selected this hotel based on past stays at other Best Western Plus / Premier properites. What didn't go well was this particular property was advertised as having a shuttle to the airport, which was one of the primary reasons I selected this option. The hotel also isn't on airport property and takes approx 10 minutes to get to. I would have selected another closer option had I had all the information up front because on the day of my arrival, I was told by hotel staff the shuttle was discontinued the week before I arrived. This resulted in having to hire a Uber/Lyft at additional costs to get from/to the airport. The website still has not been updated to reflect no shuttle service. Oh, and the "no longer offered shuttle" van was parked out front of the hotel - so who knows what is actually going on. I'll pick another property for a future stay.
